π‘ This weekβs affirmation:
β¨ "Change is a natural part of life, and I welcome it with open arms." β¨
We resist change because it feels like loss. But what if change isnβt something happening to youβbut for you? What if every shift, even the painful ones, were a doorway to a new version of you?
For years, I saw change as a disasterβsomething I needed to brace myself against. And if Iβm honest, sometimes I still do. Like I said, I still find myself crying in puddles on the floor in the messy middle of another transformation. Healing is not a one-and-done situation. Itβs giving Groundhog Dayβthat feeling of waking up in the same struggle, over and over, wondering, shouldnβt I be further along by now?
Yeah, me too.
I mean, Iβve made this my lifeβs work. Healing, growing, transforming, and helping other people do the same. And yet, here I am, still processing, still becoming. Still learning to trust that change is not here to punish meβitβs here to shape me. Itβs here to show me what Iβm capable of.
Lately, Iβve been asking myself: What if I stop seeing change as a threat and start seeing it as an invitation? An invitation to rewrite the story. To let go of the script I was handed and write my own damn ending.
I recently came across a quote from Stephanie Fooβs memoir What My Bones Know that deeply resonated with me: "When the sky falls, use it as a blanket." It reminded me that even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, thereβs always an opportunity to find comfort, to reshape our perspective, and to create something new from what feels broken. I even turned this quote into a piece of artwork thatβs been gracing my kitchen hutch for a while now.

In this video, I also guide you through a meditation designed to help you embrace change and trust yourself. Because I know how unsettling it can be to step into the unknown. This meditation will help ground you, breathe through the discomfort, and remind you that you are safe, even in uncertainty. I hope it brings you peace. π
